Monique
is a lifelong dancer, priestess, and performance
artist having
extensively trained in various classical and folkloric
dance styles
throughout her life. She has a BA in Theatre and
Dance, is a certified
Hatha yoga instructor and bhakti yogi/devotional
vocalist, and is
endlessly fusing together all of her disciplines
and experiential
transmissions to form the infinitely unfolding art
of her life. Through
this path of the beauty way of the heart, she is
creating her own unique form of what could be considered
Temple Fusion Bellydance. In addition, Monique plays
the role of the Guardian in the upcoming Sacred Mysteries
feature film, Shasta.
Monique
and her partner, Solus, have built the Dakini
Rose Temple and Gardens in Talent, Oregon, where
they serve as priest and priestess hosting various
types of classes, ceremony, and events. Monique
teaches ongoing classes and
workshops, performs in town and abroad, and is
devoted to creating a new paradigm, sustainable
life for her
